Welcome to Rose City Laboratories!
You want to know what is in your medicine and we're here to help with that. Rose City Labs offers precision medical marijuana testing for potency, pesticides and microbiological conterminants using the latest equipment and proven scientific methods to assure accurate, repeatable results every time. We are fully OAR 333-008-1190 / HB3460 compliant and utilize ISO 17025 compliant methodologies and processes.
Rose City Laboratories was established in April 2012, quite literally years ahead of most of our competition. Our staff is dedicated, highly skilled and has years of experience in both the medical marijuana industry and analytic testing. We take pride in the precision of our work and our track record of excellence.
If you are a medical marijuana producer, operate a safe access point or are just concerned about your personal medicine, we offer multiple testing options, from basic potency to detection for pesticides and testing for mold, mildew and bacteria. Our turn-around times are quick and all results are verified by our lab director. Please us contact if you have any questions or to schedule a sample drop-off and/or stop by our office during our normal business hours - walk-ins are welcome.
Rose City Laboratory utilizes state-of-the-art high performance liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, and mass spectrometry equipment, which has been directly obtained from the manufacturer to assure full compliance certifications of the instruments and allows us to enjoy the benefits if direct manufacturer support.
All of our equipment is maintained in strict compliance with manufacturers recommendations and constantly calibrated to assure the most accurate results possible.
Our primary units are a Shimadzu QP2010 GC/MS with autosampler/autoinjector and multiple Shimadzu LC-2010A HPLCs with autosamplers. We recently retired our Shimadzu Prominence UFLC 20 system as our brand new LC-2010A HPLCs are a more then adequate replacement. We also operate an older GC for staff training and internal projects.
We offer quantitative cannabinoid testing for flower, concentrates as well as medibles using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analysis. We operate multiple identical HPLCs with auto-samplers/injectors for peak accuracy and reproducibility.
We identify and quantify Δ9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9THC), Δ8-Tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ8THC), Cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabinol (CBN), Cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabichromene (CBC) and the acid forms of THC/CBD, Tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) and Cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) with a standard lower detection limit of 0.1% (detection limit can be adjusted for most samples based on dilution, please ask us if you need a lower limit!).
All of our tests come with a solid, OAR 333-008-1190 compliant Chain of Custody documentation and a straight-forward "shelf compatible" report via email (postal mail or pickup optional).
